I mean, install just finished today, so I can't talk long term yet. I found the installers to be very considerate and good communicators. Everything looks fantastic and appears to be working well. I absolutely HATE inconsiderate and poor communication so I definitely would recommend Evergreen to anyone!! Probably the most painless big home improvement I've experienced.
I hate to do this but I gotta give these guys 1 star top to bottom. We recently moved into a house and were having HVAC issues. We contacted Ballard Natural Gas who came out and found out the system had been wired completely backwards in addition to other issues. They fixed the bad wiring and suggested contacting the installer (who they determined was Evergreen) to verify their other work was correct since they said the work was done recently enough it should still be under warranty. We reached out to Evergreen and they said they would come out and that if the system was indeed mis-wired they would not charge us for the dispatch fee. Kody came out and was immediately skeptical that there was any issue. He said he could not imagine someone at Evergreen making this mistake and that he would need to see photos to verify this was the case. My wife produced the before and after photos that Ballard Natural Gas (who were great to work with btw) had taken and he responded by claiming he doesn't have a way of knowing that it was actually Evergreen that had done the mis-wiring and that he still needed to collect payment for the visit ($200 dispatch fee) and that we should take it up with his boss. I reached out to the manager Chris and was told my claim for refund was denied and I followed up a few more times via email to explain the situation in more detail. I got zero responses. This is crazy to me. If Ballard Natural Gas had not fixed the mistake then Evergreen would have had to come out and fix it for free. Instead, they came out, accused us of fabricating the scenario, did nothing and charged for it despite it being a massive mistake they made. I really cant recommend anyone work with Evergreen, there are definitely better companies out there who will put their customers first. They did shoddy work (mis-wiring the whole system), sent someone out who did not believe us and in general had a bad attitude (despite being proven wrong by photographic evidence that he wanted to see), and then management refused to make it right by doing the bare minimum of not charging us for a dispatch. The other issues in the system will not be testable until its hot next summer and something tells me they will drag their feet on that and then claim its after warranty even though the issues were surfaced and documented now. If you work with Evergreen id be worried that they would do a bad job on install and then pinch pennies on the labor warranty they provide and abandon the project after they take your money. I expected them to take pride in their work and pride in their customer service but honestly, it seems like they don't take pride in either. I would be happy to simply get a refund for the dispatch fee but they would rather keep the $200 then even attempt to make their mistake whole again. Once again, I really don't like posting negative reviews esp for small businesses, but this whole experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I don't want others to have the same experience on such an expensive investment.
Outstanding, professional service! I had an emergency with my furnace not lighting. AJ answered my call right away and was here fixing the furnace in an hour. Courteous, uniformed, professional, now I will only call Evergreen. Highly recommended.
Trevor came to my house at 8:00 at night to fix my furnace. He was extremely polite, clearly explained the problem and steps moving forward and got the heat going on a cold November night. I am so grateful and would recommend his service to any of my friends.
Our team was courteous, professional and took great care with their work while working both inside and outside our home. Their prices were competitive and the turnaround from confirming we wanted to move forward was very quick. I'd highly recommend anyone considering ductless systems to include Evergreen in your bid selection process.
