Have been dealing with a serious electrical issue. Called this business 5 times total today, all before noon. Only got thru to one human, nice lady, who sent me to "electric" who never answered. I, seperately, left 2 messages on the "message line" as well. Each time I was on hold, it said I was "the first caller" but no one ever answered. I hung up after 5 mins. I have yet to hear from anyone. If you need a receptionist to answer phones, increase your profit/customer relations, I am available...

After only 5 hours of no power, the crew got everything wired up. Here, Jefferson County PUD tech is reattaching our meter. The Brennan Electric team needed one more hour to complete the wiring and test the generator. I was surprised how quiet the generator was running at full load. Sounded like standing next to a Ford F150 with the engine idling. The final electrical inspection will be later this week but they are allowed to keep the generator hooked up and active in the mean time. We now officially have whole house backup. One of our neighbors walked down to see what was going on and was impressed with the set up (said he had "generator envy"). He has a portable generator connected to a manual transfer switch. Our generator waits 5 seconds after the power fails to confirm its not a power bump, the generator then cranks and runs 5 seconds to stabilize the power. So, a total of 10 seconds elapses before power is restored. The transfer from generator back to public utilities happens in a blink, almost unnoticeable. We should get about 3 days of power running the generator at full load. We can extend to 5 days by only using essential items and skipping the electric range, electric dryer, etc. The two LP tanks are configured to allow two more tanks to be added for a total of 1,000 gallons (if we ever want to go that route). Brennan Electric was a great company to work with. They provide turnkey service (electrical, gas, permitting, maintenance) and they communicate well and are very organized. They install about 30 generators a month throughout the greater Puget Sound area!!! I recommend getting 3 quotes. Each of our three quotes were wildly different (pricing, type of generator, size of generator). Costco had the best deal which saved us $2,000. They also offered a 12 month, zero interest loan (no monthly payments but the balance is due at the 12 month mark). This will give me time to vacuum up overtime at the hospital to pay the $16,000 bill!

Extremely fast service even after our major wind storm! Vincent arrived and verified our generator hookup was working properly and professionally explained our setup and how to properly cut over power to our generator while our power was out. Vincent was our Savior!

I was referred to them to install a 240V socket for an EV charger by my dealer. They honestly came out, and did a great job installing it. No problems whatsoever with their techs. However, their billing and management seem to be a little unresponsive. Even though the invoice I have shows that an Electrical Permit was purchased, I still haven't gotten an inspector out here to look at it, so I feel like it's been forgotten completely at this point. So I have to dock a few stars for that bit. Edit: Kacie reached out, and got everything sorted out. The speed of which they reached out and made sure everything was good was incredible. Thanks!

Check the number of complaints they have with the BBB. According to their bid, their work was "Adding new switches and outlets in stair well, kitchen, customer location." They didn't replace the switch to the stair well and left the other outlets and switches just wired, with no actual outlets or switches! Some of them were also not put in the locations as shown in our drawings. Their contract also states "Pay Schedule: 50% To schedule - 40% Trim - 10% Final Inspection." We paid 50% to schedule, they didn't do the trim (which is to install the outlets and switches) and then they charged my credit card in full without my permission. Their total was $4,950 for 5 1/2 hours of work which is about $900 per hour. Their response to my complaint to the BBB was a flat out lie. They said they finished their work and that we refused to let the inspector in. We allowed the inspector in and they failed the final inspection because they weren't done. Now we have to hire another company to finish their work. Total waste of time. I'm sure they'll post a response to this review that will not be truthful but the fact is they didn't fulfill their contract.
