Every part of the process was seamless: scheduling, arrival, diagnostics, estimates, and completed work. Kasey was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and precise. He walked me through his recommendations for upgrading my panel to 200 amps, doing a knob & tube rewire, and how to best bundle it with emergent electrical work I was looking to do. He straightforwardly answered all of my questions with care, which I especially value as a female homeowner. Bonus: he located my water shutoff valve that was tucked away in a weird location and was amused at my cat making herself comfortable on his shoulders. I’ll definitely be a return customer.
As You Wish Electric was responsive and thorough from the start of the process. I called for an assessment and work estimate and was given a complete breakdown and explanation. The price charged for the estimate was quite reasonable as Robby spent over 2 hours going through the house and then explaining his recommendations. He was thorough, professional and personable. The work was scheduled in a timely manner. On the scheduled day, Frankie showed up on time. He, too, was professional, courteous and personable. The time it took to get the whole job done was longer than we had anticipated, but he stayed until the job was finished. His supervisor, Matt, also came to help and was able to complete other repairs. Both were very thorough and communicated explanations and questions thoughtfully. I would definitely recommend and will hire them for any future electrical needs.
As you wish did a really excellent job with our rewire and panel upgrade. It was a major project and we felt very supported throughout the whole process. The electricians Nick, Mike, Gunner, and Caleb were knowledgeable, up for troubleshooting, answered a million questions, communicated thoroughly throughout the whole process and made us feel good about taking on such a big project. The team was respectful in our space and fun too. We’re super excited to be fully illuminated, current and up to code! Would 10/10 recommend As You Wish and definitely work with again.
Installed a new panel to replace the original one (1998). Added more room for additional electrical systems such as for a sauna. The new panel is up to code and seems to add additional safety to our modern home. The surge protector is much needed up here where some lighting storms occur. The team also added new GFCIs and the outlet for a bidet in the bathroom. Nick and Mike were very professional and friendly. They did professional work and were on time. They finished promptly and cleaned up. No complaints. Kasey did the estimate and sales. He was honest and professional. He gave us some discounts because he was concerned about the age and condition of our old panel. Appreciated his concerns. We do not want an electrical fire. Our home is huge investment and asset for us.
After using these guys over a year ago I just had to call them back. The first time I used “As You Wish” I had a rental property on Beacon Hill that needed a full panel replacement because it didn’t pass inspection and needed upgrading. The company sent out Fransisco to access the situation and from start to finish he was able to work up a quote, get permits, do the job, and deal with the inspector to sign off with flying colors. Well today I had to use them again but this time for my personal house. This job was much much bigger than just a panel replacement. I am upgrading my house service from 100amp to a whopping 320amp service. I called the company to see if Fransisco was available again to come out. And yup again he was available and once again was able to quote me out and this time not only did he had to permit on this one but also had to deal with PSE coming out to deal with it especially since I live in Des Moines. This time he came out with a very awesome crew because of how big this job was. New upgraded service line in, plus had to have them run a new panel, sub panel which I’ll be using in the future for add ons. They made me feel so important with the crew they sent out. I believe the main guy this time was Bobby who coordinated with his guys Devon, Mark, and Gunner to come out and knock out this huge project in under 2 days which was amazing. And for Fransisco to be able to come out and deal with the city inspector was very helpful. I have to say without a doubt that this crew of AS YOU WISH is definitely living up to the name. I asked and I received!!! These guys didn’t play around and got down to business. I wouldn’t recommend any other company as these guys have done 2 jobs for me already and I’m sure there will be more as I look forward in buying more houses in the future.
