I called Stay Dry Roofing at 4:30pm yesterday, hoping to find someone to clear leaves off my roof before Tropical Storm Hilary hits tomorrow. They managed to squeeze me in at 7:30am this morning and did a fantastic job (the first photo is my before picture; the other two are photos they took when they were done). They hauled away all the leaves and didn't leave any lying on the ground. Very punctual, efficient, and professional.
Can I leave zero stars? Idk how they have five stars. What a facade. Apparently they “fixed” the roof. Well nothing got fixed and now I will have to get new wooden floors and on top of that an “emergency” fee of $1800? An “emergency” call for something they never fixed? Not a bad business model if you ask me. Don’t do a job well the first time so you can get an additional “emergency” fee down the road. Hopefully others can stay dry.
The high winds on 01/22/2022 tore all the roofing off my flat-roofed addition. At 7:01 am on the following Monday, I called Stay Dry. A human being answered the phone (!) and said they'd be out between 10 and 3. At 9:40, I got a call from the estimator, Shelly, saying he would arrive by 10:10. He arrived at 10:05. He measured the area and had an estimate by 11:15 am. The price was within the range I expected to pay. The owner, Javier, and Shelly came with a crew the following Sunday and installed a completely new roof. Javier explained how the material was being laid down and secured. The entire process was transparent. On top of that, though, Shelly took photos of the damaged roof and the work in progress and sent them to me . Those photos proved to be critical in support of an insurance claim. I would recommend Stay Dry Roofing (Pasadena) to friends. They say what they're going to do and how much it's going to cost, and then they get it done when they say they're going to do it.
I hired Stay Dry Roofing Company recently to install a new roof in my client's home that we were getting ready to sell. These guys did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. We've worked together in the past on some roof repairs on another client's home. I trust Stay Dry Roofing Company when it comes to giving this company honest opinion as to what needs to be done with a roof. I won't hesitate to use them again.
Stay Dry Roofing did a nice job on our roof, and at a good price too. I loved being able to work directly with Javier Garcia, the owner, and he did a great job of keeping us up to date on the project. I can definitely give Javier and Stay Dry Roofing my full recommendation.
